About Torben Beerboom

“To quote John Miles: „Music was my first love“ – for more than 20 years. For me, the piano is the greatest instrument of all because it is so variable and supports my creativity. Pop and Jazz music is my focus, although classical music has played an important role in my music education.”

Torben loves to travel the world, especially the USA, and he is very much inspired by his travelling experiences. Still, his home is the Ruhr River Region in Germany. Formerly this was an industrial area shaped by the coal mining and you can still notice the special atmosphere of those times. However, cultural events have nowadays found their ways into the industrial buildings.
